This event was based on the International Formula 1 Race, www.F1.com. The rules attached were not hard and fast but they were necessary as people can get very competitive! The first prize was a Veuve Clicquot Brut Magnum, a cup trophy and medal, while 2nd and 3rd place got medals and of course every winner received a free copy of Zorce Racing Magazine!

As we all know, Red Bull is very non traditional and doesn't mind reinventing the wheel with lots more thrills for both participants and spectators! Such was the case on this day as fully grown riders struggled to keep pace with each other on tricycles fit for a three year old. Pedals broke, tempers flared and riders invented their own unique methods of propulsion all while staying in the seat.

From 8 heats, 2 semis and 1 final race evolved based on timed runs, five riders on the course at once. The best times in the heats qualified for the semis and those best 5, went to the finals. In each round, every driver had a Pit stop assistant, to refuel them in less than a minute with a can of Red Bull and to perform emergency repairs and cleaning of their tricycles. The start and finish were through the Red Bull arch.

Special thanks must go to Jase Vilian, M.C. for this event, members of the Red Bull Energy Team, CARS and all our riders for their bravery and valiant efforts!
