If the gods were to ever grace JTuned with an angel, Nadine Toyoda would be her name. Not only did Nadine go completely out of her way to fit us in her busy schedule but she graciously helped out by scouting locations, choosing outfits, and braved the rainy So Cal weather for this shoot. If only all participants were this eager, all would be merry in the land of JTuned-dom.
Sitting down with the Queen of Drift for the very first time, I was kindly greeted with her persona of strength, independence and professionalism. In the fastest growing automotive sport this side of the Pacific, Nadine has single-handedly taken female Motorsports to the next frontier. Piloting her own slide queen, Ms. Toyoda has stood at the forefront in the battle between X and Y chromosomes. If being a daughter, mother, girlfriend, driver, entrepreneur, and enthusiast wasn’t enough on her plate Nadine has also co-founded Drifting Pretty, an all-female wrecking crew who shares her same vision, beliefs, and lofty aspirations.
