April 2003 makes it about a year now since we published Zorce Issue Primera. At the end of summer 2002 we managed Zorce2 with amazing coverage of the Barbados rally and our first real test drive– the Mini Cooper. A most fitting way to start I might add. We even built our own website to facilitate online orders from Zorcers abroad– www.zorce.com.

It's been an amazing adventure so far and it's only just begun! At this point I have to call a few names: Andre Crichlow, Christian Cozier, Rawle Mahabir and everyone at Cariflex who believed that Zorce should be born, thank you! Printing a publication such as Zorce came from necessity in my opinion. Tired of reading about what everyone else was getting in other countries, many felt that we needed an ongoing reality check, which is what we've done in this issue with Peugeot's 307, Mazda's new 6 and the Mini Cooper S. Perhaps we in Trinidad now need to take it to the next level– a proper motor show– with dream cars, prototypes and brand new cars. Some sweet deals for purchasing, leasing and insuring them couldn't hurt either.

Every five minutes in Trinidad you'll likely spot a "fixed-up" car. Trinis are definitely taking pride in their rides and other islands are developing their own flavour of this new wave. We'll be helping you decide in this and other issues on how your ride fits in. Are ready for the next level of enthusiasm– racing? We're right there with you too. Zorce was born out of and will always showcase the die hard racers, tuners and clubs– especially those of the legal variety. The idea is Evolution. Once it's fast, you know yuh done know!
