So after doing a camera review dere for Narend, I came up with an idea..

Let's play more with the settings on the camera... yes there ARE other settings besides Auto!! j/k Laughing

On most compact digital camera and SLRs there's always shooting modes.. For the next 1-2weeks, shoot using the mode that keeps your aperature (or F-stop) setting at the lowest you have possible usually 2.8-4.6. Take one shot in full auto mode first (low res file) and then shoot in the f-stop mode /aperture setting of the same image. When posting, post the two images and let us know the settings.

If you're not sure what setting it is or how to find your f/stop mode, just drop us a post on your camera model and we'll help u figure it out.

What we are trying to achieve is very low depth of field images. Where there is very little in focus and you decide what stays in focus and what does not. Try taking one night shot and see what happends. Try shooting 3-4cars at once and see what happends. Post your comments, and let us know your experience you had in shooting at this setting.

HAVE FUN!!

Kav, how would a 30 y/o Yashica rate? And it works perfectly.....120 film hard to get now tho, plus darkroom services eggspensive
but its got variable shutter speed, right down to where u can hold it down indefinitely for stuff like star-trail exposures............

Resembles this fella:

By the way - the point and shoot cameras all have different settings too...
The portrait setting would usually have the lowest f-stop setting. Usually a ladies head or "P" on the camera.
