I took these at a car show in Orlando
It was hard to get clean shots due to all the activity, so I focused on angles and perspectives instead.........

Like here, framing the MGA with T series MGs of the pervious era...

and here, filling up the entire frame with the Lotus. I was going for the essence of speed and motion...would have worked better if the engine bay was closed......

again perspective and contrast.........

trying to capture motion while keeping the 'face' of the car sharp

the sunburst on the headlamp was totally accidental, but I think it works well

almost perfect.....how often do u hear 'yeah, the back of the Jag spoil the shot'

the essence of the XK8 as I see it; poised and ready to attack

grace and elegance comes through amid chaos and clutter

bonnet spoiled a perfect shot here.....could have been wallpaper material...opden bonnets was my biggest problem at that show, that plus challenging backgrounds

comments (not on the cars themselves please)

i love the shot of the elise, the 2nd to last of the 3 jags and the angle on the last one...trying to figure out if i would still like the last shot w/o the flag and think i would.

Flatline,

For Gary's van you'd just need more light on the side.. to help balance it off..
