time to take the dust off this thread

i found the steering part

so from left to right

the 1st 2 parts are what it's supposed to look like [got 2 just incase]

the 3rd part is the part that broke and the 4th part is where it's broken into.

once i can get the piece of part 3 out of part 4 and then put part 1 into 4 then on the car, it criss again

like a thief in the night i return

well let me do a quick update on what was changed since last posting [like 2 years ago lol]

OK so my last post was in August 08, later on that month I started university and got caught up heavily in my school work. In addition to that, the MG downgraded from daily driver to once a month classic car link up queen. Now because I'm so damn lazy I'm jus gonna share the link http://www.jamaicaclassiccarclub.com/ just click JCCC albums and you should see our outings since 2008.

In like November 08 they rolled out E10 in our 87 octane gasoline and to celebrate the event they invited us to an event [ironically 90% of the vehicles couldn't run it] Right after that event we rolled out as a group to the Wheels Jamaica Photoshoot and stole the show. At the end of the year, the club participated in a mini show at the New Kingston leg of Rally Jamaica.

video of us http://www.facebook.com/home.php?#!/video/video.php?v=36337428291

In 09 we started a campaign where we were on an outing at least twice a month, pics of these outings are also in the classic car link. We also had our first car show in along and it was beautiful. Problems started in August of that year when the throw out bearing broke 72hrs before the 09 edition of the Independence Parade. That was the most epic 72 hrs of my life. In that time we had to source a throw out bearing [took it off my mechanics older engineless MGB] and reinstall it in the MGB. It was a very close call but eventually a simple mistake in connecting up the whole transmission delayed it all. After this the MG was featured in events for JMMB's new retirement plan, a music video for Lady Saw and an advertisement for Digicel

The MG's short role in Digicel's ad

For 2010 now the MG developed distributor and coil problems which caused a long line of trial and error solutions. This was highlighted when Coca Cola hired us to appear at an awards ceremony covered in their logo. The MG killed its battery and we had to do an emergency battery swap in 5 minutes. We eventually got it to work but carb problems currently haunt us. [we suspect] Because of the full implementation of E10 in our fuel supply, the fuel float developed holes and would not float in the fuel. As of today, we bought the wrong float and are currently looking for an SU float.

Other changes we made: The fart can is finally off, we got a new gear knob, a dashboard cover to hide the ugly crack on the dash, some more carpeting on the inside and respraying of the rims.

I'll try to update you guys some more since I'm on summer holidays. And I'll try my best not to accidentally block MG Man from my contact list lol
