London based Eterniti Motors, a new luxury brand looking to rival competitors such as Bentley and Aston Martin, has used the Bejing Auto Show to display their first vehicle in pre production form. The Eterniti Artemis is billed as the world's first super-SUV and is set to go into production in the summer of 2012.

First announced in 2011, the development time has been quite quick. That is because this model is little more than a tuner car based on the Porsche Cayenne, although Eterniti Motors has neglected to mention the base model.

Power is produced from the same 4.8-liter twin-turbo unit that is employed in the Cayenne Turbo, but the Eterniti engineers have added a few ponies. The super-SUV produces 600PS (441kW/591hp) and 750Nm (553 lb ft) torque enabling it to accelerate from 0-100kph (0-62mph) in 4.5 seconds before hitting a top speed of 290kph (180mph).
Each of the body panels on the exterior have been hand built and are made of carbon composite. The aggressive design features a large grille that is flanked by oversized air intakes, the hood also incorporates additional air vents. The overall profile mimics the Cayenne it is based on while the rear end features an aerodynamic diffuser and twin tailpipes integrated into the bumper.
The interior has been developed for chaffeur-like functionality. The reclining rear seats have up to 100mm of leg space and has some luxury features including electronically operated iPad-ready holders and a drinks chiller.

Pricing for the Eterniti will start at £210,000 (excl. taxes) for all markets except China who will get their own pricing model.
