engine bay still to cluttered for my taste.............if u pour water on that engine none would reach the floor! Modern emissions stuff really makes modern engines look messy

look hw nice and clean that MGB engine bay is...............and everything in easy access!

MGB Engine bay, My hands could fit in there! Plenty more room to work with than my lancer bay, and that is saying something because people keep asking where the rest of the engine Laughing

clearly you forget who yuh dealin wid Wink

but man, memories of changing on the PS series corolla mark ii, compared to changing oil on a SR18..................therapy. mark ii was 1 hand with strap on a hot engine, and you in no danger of getting burnt. SR18 in a SSS. i dont think we ever cuss so much. especially after d fella insisting "it have no filter, he cyah find one". Laughing Laughing

LOL yeah
My KE30 was so easy to work on. To change the oil filter on our AE111, u need to raise the car and wait till it is cool otherwise ypu can burn yourself on the exhaust that runs over it.....doh even get me started on the timing belt change Shocked

well thats the price you pay for the benefits of low centre of gravity. maintenance on a horizontally opposed engine is never easy, with the heads facing the bodywork. Imagine the plug-change on a testarossa Shocked the timing belt change on the 'rossa is an engine-out job Shocked
