Do you need a license for sailing a yacht in TT waters?

not as far as i know. people need a permit to drive vehicles. but can speed on the waterways where it is possible to cause damage at least 10 times more costly, that if they were on land.

Well that is for sure, but I meant does one need a license to sail a boat in the TT waters? Or can you just buy a boat or yacht and go on the water without having navigation skills?

I know my cousins has a boat and they had to learn how to drive the boat, i think if it is a cartain size you may have to have some navigation skills..
