Update on the tools I used for my repair work. Angle grinder with sanding disc to grind the welds. Used a paint remover wheel for a drill to "sand" the flooring, the sound-deadening was removed with a hammer and a flat head screwdriver.
Rustoleum & HB Body etch primer, and final coating with Rustoleum Truck bed liner (pics to follow)
^ ^ ^ Then I take it that the Flux-core MIG was able to do a decent job after all?
Good going VK. BTW MORE pix of the actual weldments and some "before & after" pix please.
Thanks. _________________ Walk softly... and carry a BIG stick!

For diy's thinking about owning their own lift; BendPak has the perfect "wet-dream" for you (@ US $13,170.00)...
I have enough old cars to use this... but if only I had enough headroom... and plenty $$$$$$.

Good timing too, because the glue from three of the kitchen cupboard doors "let go" and the doors fell off.
The kitchen cupboards will be replaced as soon as the renovations for the Catering business downstairs are complete... so pocket-hole repairs are just the thing for a 'diy' fix without having to find a carpenter/joiner at 'funny money' prices to repair them right now.
