1995 240sxSE

yeah is automatic for now. if i get the engine from my friend ill do the conversion to manual cuz he have the manual transmission.

well as is the car not running due to the fact that something blew dunno if is a bearing or a rod. in the process of getting an engine from a friend that is presently doing the rb25 swap into his 97 240sxSE. as soon as i get the engine ill start work. planning just to get it running for now and taking care of the minor cosmetic work piece by piece. also if anyone know where i can get parts lemme know. couldnt let this car get sent to the junkyard too good to leave to die. will keep you guys updated as progress happens.

Wikkid. My new best friend. Looking very nice man Fuzz. Body looks straight too. And its a true SE. Congrats on the purchase. Let me know what parts you looking for so that I can let you know if I come across them. In the mean time you can start with getting rid of the pin stripe. It was a pain to get it off of mine.

trust me the car needs a repaint. clear coat gone from the top and the trunk. right now looking for a clutch pedal and the clutch assembly and a shifter. so far i might just get the 5spd transmission and engine if i can. if so then this engine coming out. might need like 2 interior door panels.

I have a stock shifter if you need one. It has a torn boot but that can be replaced for cheap from the dealership. Try to get the whole engine and manual tranny from the other guy. It will be the easiest way since your engine is already hurt.

Here are some links to help you out. The last one has a lot of pics. Do your homework before starting this. Start lurking on NICO, Freshalloy and Zilvia forums. There is a lot of info out there, particularly on the first two.

Also be sure to download your Factory Service Manual. It will be your bible but it is not flawless as there are errors at times. Print it if you have free access to a printer - its about 1000+ pages.

If you need OEM part you can order from:
http://www.courtesyparts.com/
or
http://www.midwaypartsteam.com/oem_parts.html

Ive only used the first one so far and its been good service. Cheaper than the local dealership on most things.

Does your car have ABS/LSD? Also, what is the actual date of manufacture - you can find it on the sticker on the drivers door sill.
