Car Craft’s Car Show and Sound Off showcased the latest custom rides and audio champions in T&T at a new location - Trinity College in Trincity. Of course at the centre of the attention was the Car Craft Civic with its motorised doors, bonnet and trunk and remote everything.
The venue proved to be quite picturesque and the show was very well attended. Euros like a fully kitted BMW X6, a 5-series, Audi A4 and a VW Jetta TSI rolled in showing off their stance and wet-look paint jobs. Show cars, performance cars like the HyperFas Skyline, bikes and a few muscle cars were all on display. Strong representation from RaceTrac Wheels and affiliates Gibo Wheels ensured that there was a full stock of massive chrome and fat-lipped sport rims on display.Bosch showed off their maintenance-free batteries and Seecharan’s Auto had a range of products.
Customising and Performance crews like Barely Legal, DropShop/Signal, TintBoyz, 12 Volts, Street Concepts and ChopShop, just to name but a few, were also in attendance. Godzilla Motorsports also brought along their full-race 2JZ Drag Tercel, while the Monster girls were on hand for photo ops. On the sound side of things, the crowd-pleaser audio bangout competition format made for a most interesting evening.

Synergy in collaboration with Streetwise Sounds hosted the I Love My Ride Car Show at Mid Centre Mall. The venue was packed with crowds and traffic of near-flugtag proportions, it seems being early is something many Trinis are still adapting to. The show featured a good mix of some of the car show veterans, the current audio blockbuster champions and lots of new cars seldom before seen. Naturally, highlights of the car show will be aired on the popular Synergy TV-series I Love My Ride hosted by Rodney Granado.
MK Promotions had their Car Show and Sound Off at the Ato Boldon Stadium in Couva recently. We popped into check out the scene and found IASCA judging in full swing for both SQ and SPL competition with the new meter! Of course there were lots of new custom cars on display and it was great to see many past champions still looking like brand new. Naturally their were a few new competitors as well who were still getting their feet wet and we look forward to seeing these projects develop into full-fledged show cars. Check out the pictures to see more of the action.
The Car Craft tradition of automotive innovation continued last Sunday at the infamous Kay Donna Drive-Inn Cinema. This time around Roger Perreira teamed up with Andy's Wheels to bring the some of the hottest customs in the island to one place. Gone are the days when just adding lights. rims and tint were cool enough. Even though many street car owners are quite happy with more subtle creations, this show was anything but. Lamborghini doors, strobes, transformer fenders, bonnets and trunks and screens any and everywhere were built into cars painted in candy, pearl and airbrushed colours. And of course there was car audio abound. Check out the photos for a glimpse of the action!
