Two-time F1 Champion Mika Häkkinen visited Trinidad & Tobago recently to spread the word about Johnnie Walker International’s “Join the Pact” campaign against drinking and driving.

At a media conference at the popular lounge Aura, Häkkinen was joined by Minister of Sport, Anil Roberts who delivered a very colorful address welcoming Mika, endorsing the campaign and a brief update on the current position on a home for motorsport. This may have been prompted by TTASA President Mohammed Ali’s address, which also endorsed the campaign as part of the FIA’s worldwide initiative against drinking and driving and alluded that a home for motorsport was just around the corner.

With two more qualifying runs on Saturday, Sheldon still managed to hold on to the number one spot. Rocky Flanagan of Tennessee and Melissa Hudson of Florida held on to the 2nd and 3rd spots respectively.
