T&T's Sheldon Bissessar wins in Ohio!

"Friday Night Chaos"This event was packed with a total field of well over 100 competitors attempting to qualify. Sheldon was entering the Outlaw Dragster class which would be narrowed to a field of 8 after two rounds of qualifying.
The car had a few minor hiccups but fired up in time on the line for the first pass where Sheldon managed a 3.91, qualifying 2nd to a 3.85. In round two Sheldon took the number one qualifying spot with a 3.83s blast through the 1/8 mile. This was a tough field however, as EVERYONE managed to qualify in under 4s, something which has never been seen at Summit Raceway before in this class.
Round 1 of competition would see Sheldon advancing to the semis with a 3.86 pass, easily taking the win. Sheldon moved into the Finals with a 3.826 and eventually concluded the night with a [email protected] to take the fastest 1/8 time.
Now Sheldon has a Norwalk Trophy to add to the Bradenton Snowbird from last year. Although this win will bring new challengers, Crew chief Aaron Sipple says there is a lot of power in reserve. Score 1 for T&T!
