2023 Toyota Yaris now in T&T!

The Toyota Yaris has had a successful run to date, mostly due to its positioning as one of the simplest and most economical and reliable cars on the market. We’ve seen it as both a hatchback variant and now again as a sedan, but all-new for 2023 with this fourth generation model. The exterior styling is its most radical update– but look deeper than the brochure and you’ll be pleasantly surprised.

Quick Drive: Porsche 911 Targa 4 GTS

There are very few cars that will let you rediscover the joy of a sports car like a Porsche 911 Targa 4 GTS. It can satisfy almost any automotive enthusiast while delivering a value-laden spec sheet that really does tick the right boxes if you love fast driving. While we know it is a willing partner for track days, the GTS also proved to be a very comfortable grand tourer on our Miami to Naples Porsche Experience trip.

Quantifying ‘Quito-Quito’ in Hyundai’s New Kona Electric

Most people considering an electric car purchase in Trinidad and Tobago are asking one question– “do we have enough charging stations for that to make sense?” Technically anywhere that has a regular electrical outlet will do especially if the vehicle you are looking at has adequate range. So then, how far is far and where exactly is ‘quito-quito’? We decided to try a range test in the new all-electric Hyundai Kona– to Cedros and back! On a single charge.

Warp Drive: Porsche Taycan 4S, for 500-plus miles!

The future is quietly getting louder and thought is becoming reality at an unprecedented rate. Porsche is a pioneer in the electric car space in Trinidad and Tobago, recently installing a charging system at the Trinidad Hilton and securing a number of unit sales of the gorgeous new Taycan. But many are concerned about range and availability of charging stations. What could we do?

WRC for the Road: Mercedes-Benz A 45 AMG

Founded in 1967, AMG was first known for designing and testing racing engines and also for developing upgrade packages for customers who wished for more performance from their standard Mercedes cars. Their popularity exploded with the introduction of the legendary AMG Hammer 500E in 1986, a W126 E-Class sedan fitted with a 360hp V8 engine. Mercedes-Benz fully acquired AMG in 2005 under the name Mercedes-AMG GmbH, owned by Daimler AG. AMG models typically have more aggressive looks, a higher level of performance, better handling, better stability and more extensive use of carbon fibre than their regular Mercedes counterparts. AMG aero, trim and handling packages can now be added to suit customers’ tastes if a milder combination is specified, while massive turbocharged V8 and V12 engines and big brake kits typically grace the wilder AMG-specific models. This brings us to the car at hand. For the first time in the company’s history extending back over more than 45 years, Mercedes-Benz’s performance brand is offering two compact, high-performance, all-wheel-drive road cars– powered by a class-leading 4-cylinder turbocharged engine, namely the A 45 AMG and CLA 45 AMG. // Zorce Classifieds: PDG (WHITE) FOR SALE
